Book Review: Why Men Hate Going to Church by David Murrow

First off, this isn't a book I really wanted to read.
I would say this is a good book for all Christians to read. It talks about differences in men going to church and women going to church. This book has many graphs and charts comparing a topic between women and men. I am a christian and I go to church.

This isn't a book I could sit down and read chapters at a time, it was very slow for me, I just couldn't get into very well. If you go to church and want to know why some men don't like going to church, then you should read this book. I think I will give this book for some else to read, I had my use for it and I think someone else could enjoy it!

I received this book for free from Thomas Nelson and their program, BookSneeze and was not required to write a positive review. And even though I had received this book by mistake, I still decided to review it.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! What are your traditions? I'm happy to not have to do any school work until January 3rd! :) I'm excited for Christmas and the new year but just remember what Christmas is really about! :) I'd though I'd do a little blog post right now and may do another one on Christmas! :)

Thanksgiving and whatever else.

   I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and if you are in a country that does not celebrate, I hope you had a nice day as well! I thought I should write a new blog post so here's one now :)

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can talk about Christmas all we want, right?! :) I am excited for Christmas, it's a fun holiday! I now one thing I'm getting, A Kindle Fire, which I am helping pay for :) I'm excited to be getting that!

I am so glad I am not going out on Black Friday, that is a crazy day for shopping! Too big of crowds you can hardly move! (I went to Walmart on Black Friday once) There are some people in my town that have been camping outside Best Buy since Sunday! That is nuts! Shopping online would be a lot easier!

(I basically just jotted stuff down as I was writing thois post! )

Book Review: Defending Jacob by William Landay

I received and ARC copy of this book through goodreads first reads.


I would have to say this is one of the best fiction books I have ever read! This book is well written! At times I found it hard to put down! Jacob is accused of killing one of his classmates and then everyone starts hating him and his family. His father defends him because he believes he is innocent. This is an amazing story on how they get through this situation. The ending was very shocking!

Book Review: Heaven is for Real By Todd Burpo

5/5 stars!

Very good book indeed!!! If you have not read the book yet, you should! It is about a 4 year old boy named Colton, and visits Heaven for a few minutes during his surgery. At first, his parents think he just has the flu but later find out it is appendicitis. While Colton goes back for surgery, he says "Daddy, don't let them take me!" but a miracle happens! Soon after his surgery, Colton starts asking questions related to his visit to Heaven.  He also starts describing what things looked like in Heaven, and his parents have no idea where this is coming from or how he knows these things. They are sure he did not learn those things from church or his bedtime stories.  While in Heaven, he meets some family he had never met before, nor known about. One of my favorite parts is when Colton says, "Jesus has markers!"  This is one of the best books i have ever read and makes Heaven even more exciting to see!

Since this is a fresh blog and more people should be reading my blog and I should be posting more I would like to welcome you all to my blog!

Moved blog again... and new name

Sorry about this but I moved/ changed my blog once again. There are a few reasons why and it was just easier for me to do it. Right now it is called NF plus Me and if I ever decide to change it, I will let you know! The only reason why it has a new name is when I was changing blogs, it wouldn't let me change the name even after the other one was removed/changed.
